DIY: Stuffed Doll from Printer!

The Holiday season can be stressful. These past couple years I decided to take away the stress and add more love by making homemade gifts. To me, it is more meaningful, and as I am one to teach of being more thankful during the holiday season, this idea has turned out to be amazing!

This year I decided to make dolls for the girls in our family.

      1. I draw or sketch up a doll on my computer or paper and scan in. You could also have whomever you plan on making it for, draw their own “doll” or “animal” they envision. Have them tell you a story about their creating while they are drawing it! Scan it in to the computer!

      2. Print on Printable Fabric. You can buy this at craft stores. I purchased mine on off the paper backing and you will have your fabric doll. Cut accordingly leaving room for stitch.

      3. Buy a fabric that coordinates with the doll, cut to same size as the doll. Place the doll and back right side to right side touching. Pin to sew.

      4. Sew your doll leaving opening for stuffing.

      5. Stuff and finish off, you have your Doll!

***If sewing is not in your vocabulary. Craft stores have a “Liquid stitch” that takes the place of sewing!

****You can also create any other image, such as stuffed animals, use pictures your kids drew, and more!

Enjoy and may your holidays be blessed!
